I am a soul, consciousness, a human. As a person, I am a parent to two of the most wonderful and amazing humans. I get the absolute privilege of helping them find their way in the world. Hopefully instilling them with a great set of values and morals, while providing them with the safest and happiest childhood possible. Parenting has shown me I am a fighter, a protector, and that I can do the hardest things possible while cooking dinner and doing the washing. It has shown me that strength, kindness, and gentleness can co-exist.
I am a horse person; animal people get this. I feel like I just wouldn’t be me without horses in my life. I haven’t been without an animal family member since I was about 8 years of age, and I fell in love with horses around 15 years old. Horses have been my greatest teachers and my best friends. They show you love and enlightenment on a whole new level. Our whole world was built on the back of horses, and the fact they choose to step into the role of energy workers and guides for us is profound for me. They hold no grievance for how humankind has used them, and still choose to stand with us as they teach us about the beauty and purpose of stillness within.

Over the years I have explored learning in areas of equine body work, essential oils, equine facilitated and experiential learning, Somatic Experiencing, Reiki, Quantum Touch, Buteyko Breathing Technique and Cold-Water Immersion. These modalities as well as the practitioners, teachers and healers I’ve worked with led me to find my way home and uncover who I truly am, they have all helped guide me to find my place and purpose in life. I now help others discover their own connection home to self through the entrusted practices that have come through my teacher Anandi Sano. I also provide conscious mediations and workshops to assist others in their own path of self-mastery and discovery.
Anandi Sano has shown me a pathway to sacred spiritual practice; it has all connected to become the way I show up and help myself and it is now the presence and sacred acts I connect with to help others dissolve what holds them bound. In 2018 I joined this sacred work with the sacred abilities of my herd, and we now share our Temple Space in nature with those seeking a deep reconnection to themselves. I now offer appointments with my herd, one on one in my peaceful home office and via video call.
Anandi Sano's teachings and guidance has changed me in ways I never thought possible. Not only through profoundly deep healing and remembrance for myself, my family and animals, it has allowed me the freedom to share my words and heart with others in the hopes that I open their perception of horses and how they exist in our world. I also hope that in some small way I help others find their own true beauty in life through creating space within for their own field of stillness to truly exist and for inner peace to be a part of their daily lives.
So now I am me! I am a mother, a horse and animal lover, a daughter, a sister, a friend. I am a connection for you to your own self, a chocolate lover, a learner, I am love, kindness and gentleness, I am space, presence and stillness. Some days I am even a storyteller, because if someone hadn’t shared their own story, I wouldn’t have found some of the best parts of mine, I hope that by sharing what I do, how I do it and how I see things helps makes the world a little better for horses and people alike!
The age-old concept of Who am I is an ever-changing process.
My name is Jennifer, owner of The Kindness Project.

Well now, who am I?

The Kindness Project
"Kindness is the light that dissolves all walls between souls, families and nations"
Paramahansa Yogananda
Jennifer opened The Kindness Project in 2015 with the idea of creating a safe place for others to come and explore life through rediscovering who they were under the layers of life's experiences. Combining her love and passion for horses and helping others, The Kindness Project has come to be fluid and ever evolving.

As Jennifer has developed new skills and dived headfirst into a path of self-discovery and reconnecting back to her own essence, she has continued to change and advance the way she works. However, one mainstay is always putting the safety and care of the horses first. She will never compromise the safety of her horses, and is always seeking ways to support their care, and nurture their emotional wellness.
Jennifer now offers appointments in and out of the paddock, including via video call. She now holds a deep state of presence and entrusted practices that help others realign and reconnect back home to themselves.

Follow The Kindness Project on social media where Jennifer shares her own insights into her pathway, her sacred work, horses and life.

In this space, Jennifer wishes to acknowledge the gifts she has received from all of the horses she has encountered throughout her life. Especially those who have spent time guiding and teaching her. She would like you to know that when you work with her, she is imbued with wisdom passed on from her connection with horses. Jennifer holds the sanctuary provided by her herd as profoundly sacred and believes it is to be revered by those who step in it too.

The Kindness Herd
The Kindness Herd has evolved since 2015, each of the eleven horses, ponies and miniature horses seemingly finding their way home at just the right time. The horses live freely over 150 acres in the beautiful Avon Valley approximately, 45min Northeast of Perth. They live in a herd environment with access to natural food sources and freshwater supplied by large damns and during winter, natural flowing creeks. This natural lifestyle allows the horses to thrive and enjoy a lot of freedom.

Rewilding is the term I’ve used to describe the process of healing and restoration of self the horses undertake upon their arrival to the Kindness Project. Allowing them the space and time to rediscover their natural instincts, thoughts, relationships, and a natural way of being that allows them to be safe in this lifetime.

Most domestic horses are handled and impacted by human influence from being moments old. This is “teaching” the horse how to fit into the human world and to respond and behave in accordance with what the human desires. Yet if the relationship was built on connection, communication, and self-responsibility there would be gentleness, give and take, and everything that benefited horses and human could be built together, in alignment with natural instincts, behaviours and desires. I believe that horses would be healthier and would live with wholeness if people traded their current knowledge and were led by deeper flow and connection. I also believe everyone would be a lot safer in their interactions too.
I am proud to share my understanding of horses and feel shifting people's perception and view horses is big part of my life's purpose. They have shared great wisdom over the years as my master teachers and I hope to show others that horses have so much to teach and share with us if we stop and listen.

I would like to acknowledge that my horses work with as much freedom as possible, and I always allow them space to choose how they wish to interact with the people that visit us. I have tried to create a space that has the least amount of impact to the wellbeing of the herd as possible. I do however recognise that while I invite the herd to connect with people and use no tools nor force that they show up because I ask them too. The space the herd creates is to be held in deep reverence and I ask all visitors to be open to receiving. The herd's safety is a priority and to be upheld during any interaction.
